Today was wierd. It rained, and it was windy, and it was hot as hell, but you know what? It all paid off, because I saw one of the most beautiful sunsets ever. Here is a shot that I took. I am currently working on removing the wires from a similar shot. Ill probably do the same for thsi one. Stay tuned for the cleaned version. Enjoy todays.

Super Dan

~*~Result nr 4~*~

Your power is: Super Strength

Explanation: Your gift is rather self
exlainig. But to clear things up, you have been
given a power that makes you extremly strong.
This is of course speaking in pyshical terms.
When doing good deeds the power could be used
as helping people in e.g. fights or those under
a fallen building etc. For bad purposes the
power could simply kill/beat anyone until the
gifted gets his way.
You are however as a person on the good side.
You are the leader type and have a tendancy to
look at the whole picture rather than details.
That could make you come off as inconsiderate,
but that's far from the truth. You can be
impulsive and aggressive but you mean no harm
with it. Sometimes it can even save you. If you
were to be in a group with others who have
super powers you would be focusing more on them
and the situation rather than yourself. So to
even it out, you can be egotistical at times,
but it's because you ignore your needs every
once in a while. You are responsible and brave
but could still be seen as reckless.
Negative aspects: Since you focus on the
team/family/group of friends you could start
thinking that they don't care about you since
they don't seem to look after you the way you
do to them. Also you could intentionally
endanger yourself (even in everyday life) when
doing descicions without thinking it through
that much. But a leader with more sense of
responsibility does not however come off as
reckless, but logical.

Here is the post that this was originally a reply to:

Ill tell you how. It is because everyone is so used to the idea that life sucks, that if it sucks just a little more, its okay. Well, its not. Life still sucks, and sometimes it sucks more. It a game where you get points and you lose alot more, and sometimes you gain em back, and sometimes you dont. So what is the point of playing this fucking game? Cause there is nothing better to do. So you play and play and play, and then in the end you tally your points, and if you still have some left, then life was worth living. The only catch is, you can never drop below one point. And that is what some people dont understand. That as long as you have life, there is always one point that you have left to invest and gamble away, and no matter how many times you lose it, it keeps coming back as long as you have life. Im putting this on my blog, but you can have it, too.

Quick Survey

Should I continue to post LOTS of photos of the trip to give you as big of an overall picture as I can, or shall I spare you all the little things and just post the absolute creme-of-the-crop photos?

Scouting

While looking for a decent campsite the first day, I came across this guy. He was'nt shy at all. He came right at me, as I was shooting him. I kinda thought that he'd turn around when he saw me move, but he didnt. He just kept coming. All the photos you see from this trip were shot without a major zoom lens. I ended up climbimg up a tree to get out of his way and make sure I didn't get skewed. He eventually wadered off, leaving me up a tree with pictures. I got down and continued looking for a site. Anyway, here's the pic. Enjoy.

Revisiting El Salvador

I realize that I never put up any photos from when I was in El Salvador, and since I am not going to be able to go this summer, like I originally planned, I will post up photos of my last trip. Eventually, youll get a nice collection, but for now, you just get one. Here is a panoramic that I constructed out of 5 of my photos. If you want to see a bigger version of it, let me know, and Ill consider putting it up. Probably a link to a page with just that photo. Enjoy.

Topsy Turvy

The upside down waterfall, as was previously discussed. It was really cool, actually. What would happen is that at the top of the plateu that was previously shown, there was a spring that flowed to the edge of a cliff. Once it got there, it would start falling off when suddenly, a hell of alot of wind would come and pick it up and deposit it at the top once again. When I was first walking by, I thought it was drizzling. What you see below is Ngoc's first encounter with the phenomenon. It was funny not to tell her what to expect.

Surprise!
