A Final Red Rock
This is the last photo from the ones Ill be putting up form red rock canyon. I think Nick will like this one.

at first i thought of the colosseum, then my mind said: battles, rocks- david and goliath! am i crazy? anyway, nice macro shot. i like how the bits of broken glass gives a little hint of extra color. the use of depth of field is also good to make it look like these little ridges are life-size steps that go on for a long distance.
I like it just like I like all your work, but I think I would prefer to see everything in focus. Maybe I just got so used to seeing that your other stuff, but with the gorgeous colors and all, I find the fading into oblivious kind of disturbing.
i think the photo would lose purpose if I did that.
i happen to like this pic a lot. and= people seem to love to hate. gives them a reason to live. sad. i want copy of pic. . .i do!
