Photo Camp, part 11 and 12: Double Feature

I got lazy yesterday. What can I say? So to make it up to you all (what, 3 of you?) I have decided to post 2 photos in this update. The First is of a type of tree called Aspens. They change to REALLY cool colors during this time of year. The second, is another sunset at Ancient Bristlecone. Sorry I dont elaborate on the Aspens, but I wasnt horribly exited by them, and Im in a bit of a hurry. Enjoy.

you want me to tell the story? this is your blog! you're just lazy. ok- fine, so this is what happened:

we go up to onion valley on saturday afternoon (where this photo was taken) to shoot the aspens. josh, dan and i drove up the mountain side together without the rest of the photo crew, we kind of became the group that would go off on our own. dan and i finished shooting relatively quickly because the aspens didn't really interest us that much- we had both expected to see more colors and were a bit disappointed and lost interest quickly. josh on the other hand loves aspens. he spent an additional hour taking photos of these damn trees. we waited and waited, ate lunch and waited some more... i eventually fell asleep we waited so long. and then when i woke up, josh still wasn't back! time passes and eventually he comes back and we go to camp to gather with the crew for the sunset shoot in bristlecone- i get a flat tire yada, yada, yada... NEXT DAY we go to south lake in the morning to shoot more aspens with the photo crew- but like always we ended up getting split up and we went off on our own to shoot. we shoot at the pond and river for a while and then went to the grove to shoot more aspens. josh and aspens... i don't get it. this time, in south lake, he was gone for more than an hour. i was really starting to lose my patience. when he got back and asked me if we could drive up the road to shoot more aspens, i basically told him no. i didn’t want to spend another two hours waiting for him. he was mad at me for the rest of the day. when ever there was nothing to do he'd say, "hey, let's go to south lake." he's continued to say this even though we're back in la now. it’s funny in an annoying way.

I Love your comment Max...so insightful! Anywho, I love the pictures too...I really like how all your photos are so vibrant. I tend to have trouble with that especially with skies. Landscape is difficult to shoot and you have done it very well in all of these photos. Oh, and I WANT THESE TOO!
