Tea Time

So it rained today. It rained the whole day. Went to see a traditional tea ceremony. Pretty cool stuff. They start out by pouring hot water over all of the pots and cups. Its like everything gets baptized in the hot water. Then, they add tea leaves into a pot, and then add hot water into that pot. The tea is then transfered to another pot via a strainer. Then everything gets baptized in the tea. Then water is pured in once again, and the tea is poured into very small shot glass looking things. A tea cup is placed upside down on the shot-glass thing, and then it is all inverted. The shot glass is then removed, and the tea sips into the tea cup. Hard to describe, but horribly interesting. Other than that, mostly just sat and watched a bunch of movies and hung out with some friends. Pretty uneventful, but highly enjoyable. Here is an image from the ceremony. Enjoy.
